Is it a USB or Ethernet DSL modem? what model / brand of modem is it ?

Does it have PPPoE built in or do you have to login using software on your computer ? if so you will need to download something like Roaring Penguin PPPoE in order to get your connection running.

I have posted some information in an article, it may be of some help:
- PPPoE Setup

Let me know and I will see if I can be of any further assistance.
