I used it when about 8 months ago when it was still beta software (maybe longer than 8 months ... time seems to be so inconsistent).

I liked it but never stuck with it (went back to windows due to scanner, sound, video and adsl problems).

Now that i'm about to dedicate 1 machine to linux, i think i'll go back to it.

Have you tried it yet?

Well i'm actually looking into it :)

Your refering to the "Outlook express" type of Evolution right?

Yup. Beats the living snot out of any EMail client out there. Very handy if you track mailing lists, and need to easily sort them out, and view by threaded email lists and stuff.

While we're on the topic, has anyone managed to successfully import their outlook (proper, not express) contacts into evolution? Evolution crashed when I tried to feed a csv file that had been run through csv2vcard.
