Hi Guys.

We are in the process of installing Mandrake 8 MNF. We are trying to install the ADSL connection, but aren't sure if it does connet or if we are being blocked out by Shorewall. Is there a way of testing the ADSL connection once we have configured it? Is it possible that Shorewall is blocking us out? Should we select a static IP address for the ADSL setup or select DHCP?

We have a Celeron 1.7 GHZ with 256 MEG DDRAM. a 3com network card (ADSL) and a Realtek network card (LAN).

I am new to Linux, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Trevor :? :?
